I am so sorry to hear about Erika's passing. I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Erika on Pancreatic Cancer UK's Demand Faster Treatment campaign. By selflessly sharing her story Erika made the campaign something that spoke to the thousands of people across the UK. For that I will remain truly grateful. She also worked with me on other policy lobbying activities around pancreatic cancer, including a meeting with the cancer policy team at NHS England. She was determined to see change happen for pancreatic cancer, she was a natural campaigner. On a personal level she was someone who was a pleasure to get to know. Her fighting spirit was inspiring as was her 20 mile bike rides in between treatment. Erika makes me more determined as ever to make sure that we see change happen for pancreatic cancer.
