I lost a very dear friend to this ghastly illness several years ago due to lengthy diagnosis failure because of using process of elimination of her “symptoms”; she initially had “acid reflux” but was not properly diagnosed for five months! By which time .... the disease had advanced too far. She left two wonderful young sons. I have been pleased to support this campaign, although “pleased” does not feel the proper emotions I have. But I am very thankful this neglected illness that is nasty and violent, now has a good chance to be on the “agenda” of “very important things to do” for our politicians. I am so sad and sorry for your loss. Erika was obviously a wonderful person, full of vitality and love. My thoughts are with you. All best wishes to you all to come through this very sad period.
